Paula Luethen MP is the State Member for the electorate of King. Elected in 2018, Paula is a strong local leader with the skills and experience to represent the people and businesses of King.
Five years ago, Paula was successfully leading Change and Communication nationally for BT Financial Group until a life changing career coaching session resulted in her recognising a deep yearning to help people achieve their ambitions and to stop child abuse.
By bravely facing her own past as a victim of child abuse, Paula discovered her purpose. After 20 years in senior roles in banking, finance and the energy sector, Paula has chosen to use her life experience, her coaching skills, her advocacy skills and change leadership experience to benefit the local community.
Paula has been serving in various community roles as an elected member at City of Tea Tree Gully Council, as a champion for children and survivors of sexual assault and abuse, part of the White Ribbon accreditation project, serving as a Lions member and contributing to other community groups such as Friends of Cobbler Creek and Para Wirra.
Having bounced back from many life challenges, Paula is a strong advocate for the most vulnerable members of our South Australian community.
