Long-serving South Australian police officer, Shaun Osborn, has today been selected as the Liberal candidate for the electorate of Adelaide in the upcoming Federal Election.
Shaun was appointed at a preselection meeting held in the electorate this morning attended by about 200 Liberal Party members.
Having worked for the South Australian Police for 20 years and recently as a detective investigator within the Major Crime Investigation Branch, Shaun is an experienced and driven South Australian leader with a strong connection to the city of Adelaide and its surrounding areas.
He is also a passionate community volunteer with many years of service for the Lions Club of Prospect and Blair Athol, the Street Family Homeless Charity and Relationships Australia, which reflects Shaun’s commitment to serving his community.
“I’m honoured to be selected in the seat of Adelaide and am looking forward to talking with local people, families, small businesses and community groups about the things that matter most to them,” Shaun said.
“I am passionate about my new role and I am keen to draw on my wealth of experience to connect with people living and working in the electorate and help to drive a strong economy.”
“I look forward to working hard for the people of Adelaide to give them a strong voice in Canberra, which is what our community deserves.”
