Hemant is a self-employed Taxi Operator living in South Australia with his family for the past 12 years. He is a passionate and energetic advocate for multicultural communities, and knows the importance of hard work and opportunity. Working in the taxi industry, he is a strong supporter of South Australian tourism and events, and the flow-on effect tourism brings to the SA economy.
Hemant was educated in India in the field of electrical engineering and is keen to see the development of Lot Fourteen – the former Royal Adelaide Hospital site – and growth in areas such as innovation, defence and space technologies which will drive jobs for young people in South Australia.
Hemant believes in supporting people who are having a go and trying to get ahead and is opposed to Labor punishing retirees, small businesses and hard working families.
