Stephen Wade is a graduate in Law and Economics from the University of Adelaide.

He worked in corporate governance and on a range of Boards before being appointed to the Legislative Council as a Liberal Party member in May 2006

Stephen was Chair of Julia Farr Services Inc. (2003-2006), the largest disability service provider in South Australia, and was a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Stephen has served as a Shadow Minister since April 2007, and currently holds health, ageing and related portfolios.

Stephen lives in the Adelaide Hills and enjoys travel, bushwalking and movies.
